How we met
We had a mutual friend in the climbing community who was hosting a 4th of July party at Pace Bend, a local spot on Lake Travis known as a great place for deep water soloing. We didn’t talk at all at this party, but a few days later, we matched on Tinder, realized we had been at the same place at the same time, and agreed to get a beer at the Draught House.

The Proposal
Matt said he had plans with a friend, when really he had plans to have a glass of wine with Kate’s parents and let them know his intentions. He came home in a great mood, rattling around in the office while asking if she wanted to have leftover beef stroganoff for dinner. Then, suddenly, he burst into the living room and got down on one knee. “Also, do you want to get married?”
